The air pressure coefficient of flow (inclined flow) fan is higher than that of axial flow fan, and the flow coefficient is larger than that of centrifugal fan. It is used in the situation where the air pressure and flow are "neither too large nor too small". It fills the gap between axial flow fan and centrifugal fan. At the same time, it has the characteristics of simple and convenient installation.
The mixed flow fan combines the characteristics of axial flow fan and centrifugal fan, and looks more like the traditional axial flow fan. The casing can have an open inlet, but more often it has a right angle bending shape so that the motor can be placed outside the pipe. The discharge shell expands slowly to slow down the flow of air or gas and convert kinetic energy into useful static pressure.
